WALK101 exhibits GMSM musculoskeletal X-ray AI at VSRNM 2026 in Da Nang

WALK101, a company specializing in artificial intelligence for musculoskeletal X-rays, took a booth at VSRNM 2026, the Vietnamese congress of radiology and nuclear medicine, held Aug. 7-8 at the Ariyana Convention Centre in Da Nang, Vietnam. Among those attending were Professor Lam Khanh of Vietnam's military diagnostic imaging and nuclear medicine division and Dr. Bui Trong Duong of the radiology department at 108 Military Central Hospital. Dr. Duong gave a scientific presentation on the performance of AI in assessing full-length lower-limb X-rays and its potential clinical applications. GMSM (General MusculoSkeletal Model), WALK101's flagship solution, automatically analyzes musculoskeletal X-rays across a range of regions, including the full-length lower limb, the knee, the hip and the spine. It connects to hospital PACS systems to support diagnostic work. At the booth, the company demonstrated how the software automatically extracts and visualizes lower-limb alignment and key anatomical parameters. WALK101 said those capabilities can make the software more useful in orthopedic clinical practice. "It was a meaningful opportunity to share the performance of musculoskeletal X-ray AI developed in Korea with clinicians in Vietnam," said Dong Sik Chae, CEO of WALK101, underlining the company's plans to expand overseas.
